  How lucky are we to have this as our local chippy because even if it wasn't we'd be happy to bypass others to get to this one. The selection is large offering both good freshly prepared Chinese food as well as the usual more traditional English chippy selection and the fish is tasty and crispy  too and I have someone in my family who is quite fussy on their fish..!  You can tell the sign of a good chip shop by the queue and this place is always full. Having said that, although the staff don't particularly do a lot of smiling, they are really quick and make sure everyone gets served asap as they've obviously adopted a good ordering and queuing system. You'll see plenty of people stood against the wall inside the chippy waiting for their special orders but meanwhile the speed of service is like lightening. No wonder they don't have time to smile all the time..! This doesn't mean they're not helpful or polite, they are. We've tried other places occasionally but always come back to this one as it's hard to beat. They deliver too. 5 stars for sure and great chippy..!!

  I really enjoy the chips.
  I've never had the Chinese take-away.
  There is one woman is rather surly and I try and avoid him when ordering, but it isn't a sit-down place so I am not that bothered.  I'm there for the food, not the service.
  Prices are reasonable.
